| Resting between the golden granite mountains of the Sinai desert and the Egyptian Red Sea, the Bedouin village of Dahab is 90km north of the busy tourist resort of Sharm El Sheikh. In the late 1980s, the former fishing village was settled by divers exploring the underwater sites, such as the famous Blue Hole and Canyon and also by Western backpackers exploring the Sinai’s unique coastal desert trail. |
